FAQs

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, we always welcome new patients of all ages to our dental office. From your youngest family member to your grandparents, we provide outstanding dentistry in every stage of life.

We speak French, English, and Inuktitut in order to better serve all members of our Iqaluit community.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we accept most insurances and accept assignment of benefits. Most procedures are covered by insurance, and in many cases, you will not incur out-of-pocket expenses beyond your customary copay.

If you want to have elective procedures such as cosmetic work, we can discuss your cost and treatment plan after an exam with one of our doctors.

Are your dentists gentle?

Our dentists make sure you feel completely comfortable for the duration of your treatment. If you feel discomfort at any time, stop us and we can address it immediately. Your comfort is important and we want you to be able to relax during treatment.

Do you speak Inuktitut in your office?

Yes, we do! We can clearly explain all of your procedures so that you completely understand what to expect. Communication is an important part of a patient-doctor relationship. We encourage you to call us with any questions about your treatment and look forward to treating you in our Iqaluit dental office.

It's been a while since I had a cleaning. Can you help?

Of course. We know that life circumstances sometimes get in the way of important appointments. We look forward to helping restore your health so you feel good again. We never pass judgement on patients. Instead, we focus on solutions to help you feel more comfortable and keep your teeth and gums healthy.

Do I really need x-rays?

We offer digital x-rays and they are still the best way to diagnose most conditions. If you have questions about the safety or necessity of having dental x-rays, let us know and we will be happy to answer those questions for you.
